I'm still trying to adjust myself for studies. It's definitely hard, but i'm not gonna give up.

My dad always has the idea that getting A(s) for exams in poly is as simple as in compulsory education-study hard and your results would show.

Well, i can swear that it's not that simple, i wish it was, but i cant change the facts, can I? Actually, that's what i'm here for, something different, something more exciting, something that would aid me in my future job.

Seeing those people getting in the honour roll and getting loads of A(s) stabs my heart. I didn't get any D for last semester, and i was glad cuz i had made myself promise that the first step to improving my grades would be not to get D. However, this sem's Essential of Finance module once again opens the door to a D. Urgh, it's darn difficult to force yourself to make an effort to 'indulge' in something you dread.

I've never like these kind of subjects, it doesn't help that the lecturer is totally inflexible and not at all understanding. Before we could even express our views, she would interupt. Fortunately, i understand that not everything in the world goes smoothly. In fact, if everything goes too smoothly, it would be rather weird huh?

And i finally made my decision for the 3 modules. The form has already been handed up and i pray hard i would get the combination, cuz i don't wana fall into another dilemma again, which i totally cant imagine.

I chose Media In Asia, Customer Relation Management, and Writing for the Web. Business Planning was out cuz i don't think i would ever get involve in the expanding of businesses, let alone set up one my own. Another option out was Creative Digital Art, which i was seriously considering cuz i'm really interested in Advertising and this seems to help, but i decided i was afraid i cant cope the technical part, so this is out too. Like Winz said, i over-unestimate Understanding Cross Cultural Diversity, and i still do, cuz in my opinion, i'm a rather easy-going person, so if there's no major defects, i should get along with my futher colleages no matter where they're from. But i believe these modules are there for a reason, so no offence to those taking it k..Just my one-sided view...

Geez, alright, let's skip to the happier part of my life, cuz unhappy things should be thrown into the non-recycleable rubbish dump.(w/o polluting our dying earth!)

School ended at 11am today, and the only lesson was M&PP tutorial. I seriously considerd skipping it, but the angel side convinced me to go to school and be a good girl. I'm glad i did, cuz i dont feel good if i've missed something out without specific reasons. Guess it's the Kiasu singaporean mindset.

Towards the end of the tutorial, we were given a 'holiday assignment', that is to write a one-page article abot ourselves. And to help us understand ourselves better(in case some couldnt understand themselves well enough), she gave us a personality quiz which i think i've come across in some email.

In conclusion of the personality test, i'm a rather ok person, not too boring, not too crazy, not overly extreme, and quite a average person actually...Geez...

So i've planned to write this article tomorrow, plus the one for Writing for Media(which requires us to write a short article about a classmate), when the rest of the world are busy celebrating and partying their Christmas away..haha..

The good news: I finally found and bought my purple velvet cloth for my upcoming bag! I better start drafting my design for my bag, just the way i like it to be. WooHoo!~ Maybe i should have taken fashion design, haha, jk...

Thankz to Carine who brought me to Spotlight. Haha..Ooh, and a big Thank you, lady. It's really sweet of you. I sure enjoyed our shopping sprees too! ;)

Thankz to HuiJuan too: "I received your card today! Thankz gal! Yea, we've been through a lot, and our common interest keeps us together(you know la..the 4 numbers...not 4D ah...haha). And i think you're right, the closer friends are, the harder some simple things become. Guess it's cuz we've become so close that there's no need for trivia stuff. Thankz again gal. Take care ah... ;)"

Not forgetting those who remembered my name in their phonebook when they sent the Christmas greetings. I appreciate it pple. Luv ya!~ Haha....

Sometimes, the simplest things in life can touch you deeply.

After lady left for her dearest daddy's office, i met my mum and bro at Ngee AnnCity. Nowadays, i find it a bit 'throw face' to take pictures in front of the decorations, unless it's like really nice or i have a bunch of freinds who are throwing face with me. Haha...

I gotta mention. Now listen carefully...

"I had the most delicious bowl of Ramen ever in my life just now!"

Therefore, i bring to you, Ramen Ramen! Yepz, i'm giving publicity cuz i know my target audience would be interested to know.(do you?)

It's this ramen shop called "Ramen Ramen". It's speciality is called "Ramen Ramen Ramen". All their soup based are boil with bones and probably some secret recipe for at least 10 hours! I had their "Chizu ramen"(cheese ramen). They use the same soup base for all ramens. As the soup slides pass your tongue, it feels heavenly. It's the tastiest bowl of ramen i've ever had. It's superb! Highly recommended. If 5 stars is the maximum, i would give it 8 stars(there should always be some room to improve even when it's already the best right?)

You just gotta try it!

It's at a corner at The Rail Mall, along Upper Bukit Timah road.
Search through the net, they have info on it too.

I found this restaurant through a recommendation in Seventeen(the mag).
Simply love the ramen!

So what are you waiting for? Christmas? It's already here..haha...

Yeah!~

I'm spending my christmas at home, watching cableTV and DVDs, how exciting huh?

Geez...

Til then folks!~ ChEeRs!!~ ;)
