My 21st Birthday Celebration - November 10, 2007

It was a struggle thinking if I should hold a party for my long-awaited 21st birthday. Deciding on the venue was a headache itself, the rest (besides constantly bugging my guests for their attendance cuz of the pitiful number of replies if I didnt chase them) went pretty smoothly. But I'm very glad and feeling really blessed that everything that gone well.

Aside from those who couldn't come cuz of the bugging examinations, most of those on my guest list responded with a very satisfying "Yup, i'll be coming!" A simple reply with every sms or email, but it never failed to bring a smile to my face.

Thank you, my dears! I Love You!!! *muackz* with a big beary hug!
Thank you for coming despite your busy schedules. Some like Cheryl, ChenYi, Cousin Diana, came against all odds despite the intimidating final term exams. *Hugs* My aunts from my Dad's side rushed upon realizing it was the day too. Aunt Esther also brought my cousins down even though she felt a little unwell.

I really appreciate the efforts you guys made to come down to my party, really. Neomu Gamsahamnida! *Bows*

For those who didn't come, you don't love me anymore!
(Quoted from Samantha) :p

It was a really happy day for me! I know I didn't host everyone well, and there were moments where I felt a little awkward and didn't know where to sit or who to chat with next. I'm sorry for not attending to everyone well. This is what had kept me back from organizing a big party like this where friends from almost all my life come together and I don't know who to attend to. But I promise, the next time we meet up again, I'll try my best to entertain everyone. ;D

Undoubtedly, the biggest thank you should go to my parents. If not for them, I wouldn't be here. As cliche as it could get, it can hardly burst out from my vocal chords and out of my mouth. So here goes... I Love You, Mummy! I Love You, Daddy! (Hmmm...since my brother would most likely be reading this with my mum...fine...) I Love You too, JingYu! You idiot! wahahaha... Sorry, that's what we siblings like to call each other. :p

By the way, I only managed to sing like a few songs. Half a song here, another half there, and a handful of duets. And I thought it was supposed to be my concert! Hahaha... Never mind, I was busy running around attending to this and that and receiving and sending off my lovely people, so it's fine. Just feel free to ask me out to sing, I can never ever get tired of singing!

After my "concert" ended, the guys drove us to wheelock and Fish & Co. became our choice for dinner since no one had better suggestions. It wasn't too bad actually, just that the rice in the seafood platter was a bit dry. Fortunately, the very humourous and sometimes over-friendly guys made up with their antics and jokes over dinner, especially Soon Kiat who can makes friends with virtually everyone. Hahaha...

Then it was down to HuiMin & YongYik, Cheryl, MingYi, and I for a long chat at Starbucks down Orchard Road until a quarter before it striked midnight. If laughing to the point of tears rolling down uncontrollably isn't funny, then I don't know what is. A great time reminiscing about our thousand and one funny, playful, naughthy, and irresistably enjoyable acts in primary school. The awesome place where I met awesome people who moulded the first decade of my life. I gotta say, those who still play a part in my life, will continue to be part of my story till the end of time.
"Amigos para sempre" means you'll always be my friend.

When I finally reached home after a whole day of fun and love, it was the presents-opening ceremony!!!

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH! I realise you guys have a grasp of my taste pretty well eh. Every present suits me perfectly. I love it all! Another bear hug! Now I can strike off several items off my wishlist and continue wishing for the rest for christmas. Wahahaha... kidding..

Oh, and grab me anytime cuz I'm really pretty free, free from work and classes, apart from driving lessons in the middle of the day. ;D

See you lovelies again around the Christmas seasons ya!

CHEERS!~ Happiest 21st to myself tomorrow! I'm one blessed girl with many people who love me enough to come to my party. ;D

My Wishlist

It's hard to come up with a wishlist that's decently affordable. When i tried listing down the things i wanted, i realized i seem like a rather materialistic girl. Haha... Then the next thought was, "am i asking for too much?" Actually, there isn't a need to follow these... but i guess it makes things a little easier for some.. hee...

My cousin messaged me and asked me if there was anything i'm dying to have. The first thing that came to my mind uncontrollably is the thing i've been learning to operate. So i replied, "Yes, a Car." Hahaha..

Oh well, i guess that can only be realized in the further future.

Meanwhile, this is what i got from squeezing my brain juices when i'm bored at work.

[Items not in order of preference]

1) 61-keys Electronic Keyboard

I saw a few below $150 on Yahoo Auctions. Some new ones, some 2nd hand ones. I don't mind either. As long as they don't look too old and work better than my 54-key one that sounds horrible. ;)

2) Mp4 Player
Daddy has taken care of this.. hee..

3) Watch [Fulfilled]

Something along the line of these. I'm attracted to the watches with a "bling" element and thus am often attracted to Trofish watches. Would really like the clock face to have the two/three other dials within it. Like white leather or black in metal. Loves big watch faces.
Visit Trofish website / Guess websites ;)

4) Wallet [Fulfilled]
Red in patent/matt leather would do fine. Something with a shiny metal tag on the exterior would suit my taste. Doesn't have to be branded but it could look something like Pierre Cardin's. ;)

5) Metallic red/pink nice pen that would fit perfectly into an organizer. [Fulfilled]
[Taken]

6) Digital Camera
This is too much i know, but i'm just listing what i'm wishing for so ignore me if it's way over budget. Haha... Fast shutter speed is crucial! A red/pink metallic cover for the photo-taking machine would make my day. The market has lots of good digital cameras that come in beautiful colors, and i'm almost dying for one. Hahaha...

7)Air tickets or sponsorships to Japan, Korea, HongKong, Taiwan, and USA.
This is crazy, i know.

8) Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Edition
My system uses Microsoft Works and it sucks. I've fallen in love with the trial version of it and would need it once the trial copy expires on November 30, 2007.

9) Ang Baos [Fulfilled]
I would gladly receive all ang baos or cash for my many funds to support my needs and wants. It's ultimately practical and definitely user-friendly and lovable.

10) TVXQ merchandises [ Somewhat Fulfilled]
Their necklaces and DVDs are pretty attractive, but don't come cheap, so i'm been holding back getting them except for their albums. Heh...

11) A Driving License
I guess only the tester can give me this present i hope to receive as a late christmas present. Haha.. I'll pray hard...

--> Please Avoid <--
- Things that are to be eaten
I will not bear to eat it till it's nearing its expiry date cuz it's given to me as a present and I would wana keep it for as long as possible.

- Things that will be used up
Like the above, i wil not bear to use it. Things like creams and all, i will keep it till the color changes and not bear to use it to its last drop. Otherwise, i will use as little as possible so that i can keep it longer.

- Accessories
This may seem like the best choice of gift for a person like me who cannot go out of the house without at least a piece of accessory. But my mum is complaining that my little dressing table is flooding with earrings, necklaces, hair accessories, and bracelets and bangles. So refrain from this, k?

In conclusion, I'll like anything that's given to me cuz it's given by my favorite lovely people who take precious time out to celebrate this day with me.

Love you guys soooo much! I'm a happy girl...

Cheers!!~
