Long long time since i posted an entry. The previous one was posted like last year? Haha, in fact, last year was just several days ago. Here we are, stepping into a brand new year.
All prepared for more tiring projects. Or am I? Well, i do hope i am... ;)

So here's a super long entry...;)

30 December 2004
It was Ching's "Graduation cum Home-Coming nite"( also known as Prom Night). Thus, being her 'elders', we offered to do her make-up and hair-do for her. She wore the dress we bought for her for her birthday.

In process...

Pretty sis...

V3 imitating Sylvester..geez..

Sis is all ready for the long-awaited Prom night. However, the venue is somewhat not that exhilirating. No one of the right mind would be happy with the venue--JJC school field(alright, Parade Square sounds nicer?)

Here's Ching and Marc...

Well, I read someone's blog who's from JJC. This person describe the night there to be such a horrible time. Hmmm...think i should stop here, cuz i dont wana be sued for defamation cuz we dont know the real truth. What we know is the principle had been cuttig costs drastically, that's why their prom was held at such an 'un-glam' ground.

Anyway, hope they enjoyed their time? Geez...

31 December 2004/ 1 January 2005
Initial plan was to have dinner together, watch "Meet the Fockers", have some countdown fun on the streets of Orchard, and finally chill at Clarke Quay.

Due to unforseen circumstances, we sort of changed our plans a little, but we still had fun, except some exasperating incidents that happened along the way.

Well, we all met at Lucky Plaza to have dinner. Since the rest were late, Cher and I decided to shop around the viewed as "Maria" kind of shopping haven.

As we walked around, it seems there were nothing much interesting, except the perfume shops, but we continued walking anyway, till the rest finally arrived.

After dinner...

Blissful couple..

After dinner, we rushed to buy the tickets for "Meet the Fockers", and only managed to get the 12:15am show when it was only 8pm plus then.

We wandered around Orchard and waited for our Mambo King to get off work. Eventually we decided to chill at Starbucks while waiting for Mambo King and his friends to arrive.

Meanwhile, V4 exchanged our presents...

Chilling a little too much as the second, minute, and hour needle goes clockwise.

Mambo King openly ate Burger King in Starbucks...aiyo...

"Eh, smile happier can a not?"

Feeling bored as our group of 11 breaks into smaller groups and chat on their own...

Well, since this action was rather interesting, we decided to do it again...;)

When it was finally nearing 12:15am, we started to make our way all to the other end at Cineleisure for our movie.

I can swear, the crowd during the countdown was utterly horrendous! I didn't really mind the part where youngsters like us were spraying minimal 'snow-like' sprays at each other. But it became induriating as the foreign workers starting spraying right into your face and taking every opporutunity to molest!

Bastards! (vulgarities quite seldom come from me, but when i'm angry, i even curse people to death. Cuz what they are doing are totally unforgivable!) Chop off their hands! We are superior. Urgh..losing it...calm down...calm down...Remember, unruly and uncivilised people who do only bad deeds and are greedy will not appear in heaven cuz they do not have the word "repent" in their dictionary. Alright, too agitated again...Calm down..calm down...

I try hard not stereotype, but it's real hard when you've had too many bad expereinces that prove this norm.

Anyway, initially we were walking at the back, somewhere at the back of Ngee Ann City. It was all peace and total peace. But then, somehow, we walked to where the crowds were, that's where the commotion started.

Many girls were almost touched(as in, touched physically). Fortunately we were blocking our vital areas and blocked off crumpled dirty hands. There was a imbecile who even wanted to touch me! It just shows how desperate they are. As long as you're female, they would stretch their hands out without even looking in your direction. I should have scratched that bastars's skin off. But i didn't want to dirty my hands over these kind of people. Instead, i pushed their hands away. You can imagine how terrible the situation was.

I even heard a girl screaming at the top of her voice to a friend of hers.

" Ta Ma De! Ta de shou ze yang guo lai zua wo nei leh!" (他妈的,他的手这样过来抓我奶
啊!)--- [Translation: Bloody hell! His hand came over and grabbed my breast!] Poor girl..but it seems she was angry rather than upset, which was a betetr way to console yourself, i think.

Phew, luckily we protected ourselves.

And not forgetting our guys who were constantly protecting us. Thanks Guys! Really appreciated that! If it weren't for your protection, who knows, we might be in that girl's state.

Warning: Never go to such events without trustable guys who can protect and defend you and you have to be able to protect yourself too. If you really have to go, wear an armour!

The horrible crowd caused us to miss around 15 minutes of the movie! Darn!

Putting behind our anger, we enjoyed the movie lots. But we couldn't laugh too loudly or happily, cuz we weren't given time to visit to loos before the movie. Urgh!

The movie was nice. Very entertaining in fact. It's NC16, so kids are not allowed to see. Hahaha... But there are still ways to watch it even if you're under 16..hmm..i shall not go into details here...

After the oh-so-hilarious movie, we immediately rushed to the toilet.

Phew, what a relief...

2:30am. Orchard road was as quiet as 9am in the morning. There were still quite a number of people roaming the streets, probably cuz it's the New Year Eve. Geez...

Watching another movie wasn't an option. And it seemed pointless to go to clarke quay. So we roam the streets of Orchard.

Ooh, i gotta mention this. The XBox booth was still open at 3am! And Ching and I stood there for like 20 mins and played Shrek. It was rather fun. Somehow we lost track of time...haha...

After so much commotion or whatsoever, our stomachs started to growl.

The Food street(i cant rem the name, it's the place where there's roadside stalls. Somewhere opp. Centrepoint) seemingly became the best choice apart from all the fast food.

Soon, it was already 5am. The rest became too tired to even wait for train service to resume and therefore walked back to their home so near Orchard. However, Cher and I decided to wait a little more til 6am for the train service to resume and thus we found ourselves drinking apple and orange juices(the oni drinks they have) at McCafe.

As soon as 6am arrived, we hopped out of our seats and rushed to the train station. We were totally wrong when we thought the station would be rather empty. Instead, it was real packed.

Urgh~

By the time i reached home sweet home, it was already 7am the next day..

Geez..

All in all, New year Eve was spent quite worthwhile, minus the touchy part of the story.

Til Then Folks!~ ;)
