2nd Dec 2004
It was the day of our annual primary school class 6A gathering. And as expected, reasons(or some excuses) were given for most of them. The table we reserved for 10 wasn't even filled up, only 8 of us turned up So much for cohesiveness. Well, though there were a very miserable number of people, we were not at all miserable. In fact, we enjoyed ourselves reasonably. We chat, talked, gossiped, and celebrated dear sis, Ching's birthday. Once again, Happy Birthday Sis! (Like you said, we're finally 18! The next aim is 21, the age of freedom!)
Cheez!!
Both: "No!!..Hmm..i'll use my menu to block!!..hahaha"
XQ:"No way can u escape from my lenses..hahaha.."
HongBoon:"Better cover my face at all times..in case the crazy girl starts takin my photos.."
There Cheryl, that's the way. Smilez!~
Smilez!~ Yeah!~ That's the way!

Ching's Birthday! We had bought the cake earlier on and had left the cake at the restaurant way before the rest arrived. The staff at Breeks brought the cake out for us and sang the song with us. Hee...Happy sis?
Ching:"Woah"
Ching:"Hee.."

"Ching, try on!"

V4 with a full view of the X'mas tree, can you find us?
The night scene at Orchard road..
Shortly after, we embarked on our cross country from Orchard road to The Esplanade. And mind you, i was wearing a pair of new heels. Since everyone seems pretty enthusiatic, or it seemes, about the "cross-country", i went ahead with it. My feet were alright with the heels, but it didn't get along with the straps of the sandals. We walked pass Fish & Co. with this LOVE thingy outisde and decided to take a picture...
V4 with LOVE...
On the way, I found a Mama shop somewhere opposite Raffles City and scurried there to buy some plasters for my poor feet and batteries for my batteries-dead camera.
And the journey continued...
Finally, after much walking, we reached The Esplanade. Guess what we did there? Guess, quick guess!
Answer: We took 3 photos with my phone (apparently the Everyday batteries weren't good enough to revive my camera),and rushed for the last train thereafter. Geez...
1st try, Marc's head was cut off..
2nd try, a bit squeezy, but we at last managed to get all heads in.
Dear V3...
Men's talk?
Fortunately, we managed to catch the last train. Everyone went home happily and safely, i suppose..
Those who didn't come for the gathering, regret! Quick, Regret! Geez..Haha..JK...

3rd Dec 2004
Our first clubbing experience. Actually we went to support ChuBang in the JJC pageant. Well, it was the first for many of us. ..laugh laugh laugh.... But the legal age is there for a reason you know? We faithfully wait for the legal age before we go clubbing, so it'll all be legal, without any worries.;)
The previous day we had asked Marc to direct us to the place, cuz we were like 'sua ku[s](mountain turtles)'.
The 4 of us finally met, after Cher n I took the wrong train at JE platform. After dinner, we proceeded to Music Underground(we had initially thought Cher was describing that it's underground, and not the name..geez..)
After dinner at Far East, we finally proceeded to Specialist shopping centre. We were so afraid the bus would stop at Plaza SIngapura. Fortunately, it didn't. In the bus, we were chatting away. Huimin was Jolin Tsai, cuz of her look, her dressing, her hair. Yongyik was Kunda of Energy, cuz he looks a bit like. Next up was Cheryl looking like BoA, cuz their hairstyles were both rebonded and totally straight. Me? I was their manager. Hahaha...
Finally, we reached M.U's doors. Cuz the tickets were with Min's friend, we had to wait outside. Then this girl came forward and asked us a question.
"Are you all underage?"
*Faint*
"No"(rather unbelievably)
We then asked each other. "Do we look childish?"
My conclusion--Maybe we looked too lost.
When we went in, the pageant had already started. Once it was Chubang's turn, we would cheer for him. "Woo!"
9pm, time for free-flow of drinks started.
We queued up. When it was our turn, we stood blindly in front of the bartender. We asked what we wanted. We exchanged looks, but still none of us said anything. So i asked what we could order. He said we could order vodka, coke, sprite.(he muz have laughed at how dumb we were..geez..)Once cheryl said she wanted Vodka-sprite, the rest of us followed. Haha..
The second round, we became smarter. Min's friend told us we could order Whisky, Rum, or Vodka.
"Orh..." (We were enlightened...)
The pageant ended. Chubang won the Mambo King title. Yeah!~
The dance floor was quickly filled up. And being our first time there, we were hesitating whether to dance. We wanted to, but were shy. So, the 4 of us sat there, looking at those girls dancing on the bar top, sipping our Rum-coke.
After some time, or much time, our Mambo king came over and led us to the dance floor. YY asked him, "Go there do what?"
"Just shake here shake there la." He replied.
"Ok"
Our shoulders were stiff initially. Then we sort of got used to the "shaking here and there" and started enjoying ourselves. They played "Hey ya", "Crazy right now"...etc. I enjoyed most of the songs. They even 'switched' to 'channel 8' and played Alex To's "Tuo Diao(take off)".(We had wanted to hear this song, and they played it! Thankz to some person who requested for it..)
Dance, dance, dance, dance..
Then came the unfamiliar Techno songs. We grew tired of dancing to some unknown songs(to us) and went out to Mos Burger. Rather surprised Mos was still open. We chit chat, gossiped and talked something bad about some people.
There's a chinese verse, saying that people shouldn't talk bad behind other's back in the day. I realised it's true even i the night. "Shuo dao Cao Cao, Cao Cao jui dao." The moment we laughed at the girl wearing just a cloth to cover her vital parts and revealing her bulging tummy, she appeared with a guy. Phew, luckily we stopped in time..Haha..
The loving couple...
(From left) Our Mambo King, Kunda from Energy, Jolin Tsai, BoA(or Vanness), and me(their manager).
We went back at around 1:30am, wanting to hear the R&B songs, but the club was filled with smoke. We couldn't take it anymore. It wasn't that bad when we went out, and off we scrambled out.
We decided it was enough for the night, we enjoyed ourselves enough. Since Min n yy wanted to go home, we followed suit.(As in everyone else went back to our respective homes.)
Well, it was an eye-opener. But i really think smoking should be allowed in another area. They should provide a non-smoking area, cuz i really cant stand the smoke and dont wana breathe second hand smoke. I want my lungs to be clean. Right, lungs? "RIGHT", my lungs screamed.
-------------------------------------------------
Haha...well well...It was a rather fun week. Another week and school would be reopened in no time at all! Urgh! I so dun wana go back! I enjoy my holidays. And the SCV programmes are enough to occupy me for days and days. Even at home, i dont feel bored. But i guess there's no escape from reality. One more week, i gonna enjoy myself. My brother says he wants to go to the zoo on thursday. Hee...
Til Then Folks...ChEeRs!~ ;)
